These Conquests are supposed to be “Challenging” goals that tests our skills (?), patience (uh) and Luck (…). All in all, there have been 10 conquest pairs which Blizzard rotates from time to time (not sure how they decide it). Plus, speed build for the campaign is typically a lot different than rift speed build.Every season, there are 5 conquests pairs in total (5 each for HC and Normal) which we can complete. It's better in terms of the learning process to run Act 1 30x to learn its nuances, than to just run a 1 hour Act 1 once. Too often I'll see people where it's obvious they won't be able to complete the season journey within an hour, and that only takes a couple minutes at most to know they're wasting their time.

This is a key area where people go wrong. Last time I tried it, I think it took me most of an hour to get through act 1. You're getting something which can help later on with Avarice, whereas the only thing you get with the 1 hour campaign is a conquest. For example, this season, 7 people had completed Sprinter within 5 hours of the season start, whereas only 4 people completed Avarice.īut the campaign's reputation is such that few bother to learn it. And at the beginning of the season, you're not going to be doing 2 minute GRs, and rifts will probably take you on average 8-10 minutes apiece. On the other hand, Avarice is actually one of the slowest conquests to complete.īecause with Avarice, you'll need a Boon of the Hoarder, and you'll need to level it up some. And it's a conquest every other season, so personally I feel it's worth learning, as, if you can complete all the conquests, it's actually one of the faster ones to complete. It's really not too bad once you have the experience.
